Minneapolis and Detroit Rental Appreciation

CCM owns and operates just over 200 single family homes and several apartment complexes across three equity investment funds in the Minneapolis and Detroit metro areas.  Rents remain strong in these markets, in the past year rent has risen 5.29% in Minneapolis, and 9.45% in Detroit.  This appreciation comes on the coattails of the Covid-19 pandemic and major supply chain issues coupled with rising inflation.  The five-year history of appreciation in these markets, 20.78% in Minneapolis and 34.71% for Detroit, shows that prices have remained constant, and are not heavily weighted by rapid price growth recently.
