Ahead of Schedule: Selling New Homes Before Completion Marks a Turnaround in Market Trends?

During a recent inspection of the construction progress of this duplex in the western suburbs, the builder was happy to inform us that one of the units had just been sold. The sale of an “under construction” (not fully complete and staged) unit is a big deal. That’s probably not surprising to most people, but in the last 18 months, we’ve mostly seen spec homes only selling once they are fully complete and move-in ready. One more sign that the new construction market is improving?
