Here is an interesting Q&A with the excellent Bill McBride¹, who has been deeply involved in the real estate market for quite a while. I’m happy to see that months’ supply of homes is a key indicator for him, given how closely we also use that as a barometer. And, the chatter around climate impacting the South and West housing markets both directly through water and temperature issues, as well as indirectly through rising insurance coverage, continues to grow. We definitely see some smoke; the question is when we can perceive actual fire – we’re paying close attention given our Atlanta and Florida development projects.
